Marriage

The Archdiocese of Chicago requests that couples contact the local parish at least 6 months before the wedding date.  Couples must obtain a new baptismal record and confirmation record (if available), meet with the pastor, and attend pre-marriage classes sponsored by the Archdiocese of Chicago, on-line or in person. If the couple has been married civilly, a copy of the civil marriage license is required. Please note, that if there have been previous marriages celebrated in the church, an annulment is required before setting a date for the wedding. To start the process please call the rectory.

Couples meet once a month for five months with other couples for sharing and marriage enrichment. All couples attend and participate in the same marriage ceremony and small reception is provided by the parish. This is ideal for couples who want a simple celebration with limited costs.
